All ticket purchases are subject to availability. Prices displayed on our website include applicable discounts and are quoted in British Pounds Sterling (GBP). We reserve the right to modify prices at any time without prior notice, though any changes will not affect tickets already purchased.
Upon successful payment, e-tickets will be delivered to the email address provided during the booking process. It is your responsibility to ensure the email address is correct. E-tickets should be presented on your mobile device or as a printed copy at the venue entrance. Each e-ticket contains a unique QR code and is valid for single use only.
Standard admission tickets are valid only for the date selected during booking. Flexi tickets are valid for any day within a 7-day window from the selected date. Entry is subject to the venue's opening hours and capacity restrictions. Edinburgh Castle reserves the right to refuse entry or close the venue due to weather conditions, special events, or safety concerns.
Ticket cancellation requests must be submitted at least 48 hours before the scheduled visit date. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days. Cancellation requests made less than 48 hours before the visit date are not eligible for a refund. No-shows are not eligible for refunds or date changes.
Children under the age of 7 are admitted free of charge but must be accompanied by a paying adult. Child tickets are valid for ages 7-15. Concession tickets are available for visitors aged 65 and over, and for unemployed individuals with valid proof. Proof of age or eligibility may be required at the venue entrance.
All visitors must comply with Edinburgh Castle's visitor guidelines and the instructions of castle staff. The venue reserves the right to refuse entry or ask visitors to leave if their behaviour is deemed inappropriate or disruptive. Photography is permitted in most areas; however, flash photography and tripods may be restricted in certain exhibitions.
Edinburgh Castle is a historic site with uneven surfaces, steep slopes, and limited step-free access. We recommend visitors with mobility requirements contact the venue directly for accessibility information before booking. Companion carers accompanying disabled visitors may be eligible for free admission.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the use of our services shall not exceed the total amount paid for the relevant tickets.
